Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards 2011 digelar di Auditorium Shrine di Los Angeles, Minggu (26/6). Penyanyi R&B Chris Brown merajai acara dengan lima penghargaan.

Chris memang mengantongi enam nominasi untuk penghargaan tersebut. Ia kemudian berjaya membawa piala Best Male R&B Artist dan Best Collaboration. Ia juga kemudian berhasil mengantongi piala untuk penghargaan FANdemonium, Viewers Choice dan Video of the Year.

Ada yang lucu ketika presenter Tiffany Green membacakan penghargaan Viewers Choice. Awalnya Tiffany mengumumkan pemenangnya adalah Chris namun ia mengoreksi kalau ternyata penghargaan itu jatuh pada Rihanna. Blake pun naik ke podium untuk mengambil piala. Namun di akhir acara host Kevin Hart mengumumkan jika pemenang sebenarnya adalah Chris.

Sementara itu Jennifer Hudson berjaya sebagai Best Female R&B Artist. Nicki Minaj dan Kanye West menjadi pemenang Best Female juga Male Hip-hop Artist. Wiz Khalifa terpilih sebagai Best New Artist.
